Paris is one of the most fascinating cities you will travel. Like anywhere else, Paris has its downside, which sometimes the city post alerts due to pollution in the air. The problem is caused from high-volumes of travel throughout the city. In this event, Paris closes down travel and recommends that the community walk instead of drive. Don’t forget travel insurance if you?re planning a Christmas shopping trip

Travel Shopping

Christmas is just around the corner once again, and many people are planning and starting their Christmas shopping. Many of us even travel abroad to visit shops and Christmas markets on the continent or further afield.

Travel agencies and websites usually offer holiday packages because of the high demand for these types of trips abroad. These packages usually include train, coach or air fares and hotel accommodation strategically located near the local shopping hotspots.

For example, a short coach trip to France can provide you with all the booze you need for your Christmas party season at a fraction of its usual cost. New customs regulations even allow us Brits to take home even more alcohol per trip. Consequently, an increasing number of shops selling alcohol are setting up booths at easy access points of Boulogne and Calais.

Alternatively, if you want to experience traditional Christmas shopping you can go to a traditional market like the famous Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany. Opened in 1628, this famous Christmas shopping destination now boasts over 2 million visitors to their festive stalls annually. There are around 180 stalls that make up the “little town of wood and cloth” that have red and white striped canvas roofs. Some of the interesting gift ideas you can buy here include sausages and mulled wine for the table, handmade toys and crafts for children, and gingerbreads and sweets for the Christmas tree.

Shopping with a Pushchair – A vital part of your baby travel system

With a new baby in the family you won’t often have the luxury of shopping by yourself.

Most of the time you’ll have at least one other little person with you who will have to be pushed around the shops in a comfy, safe and warm way – you don’t want an uncomfortable baby on your hands when you’re shopping, do you?

It would pay to be mindful of this extra body and all the stuff required when you’re looking for your pushchair or baby travel system.

The high street is full of babies being pushed around in pushchairs with loads of bags hanging off the handles – that’s not safe at all.

Many of the largest pushchairs and most prams will allow for a couple of bags to be hung from the push handles but it’s not recommended.

Most shopping trips need more than a couple of light bags so it’s not particularly practical either.

Lots of the current pushchair models have some built-in storage beneath the seat.

Storage difficult to use

That space can be quite difficult to access though, mostly if you’ve got the car seat on the pushchair.

So that can result in the much-needed spaces being almost unusable for 6 months or so.

Sometimes parents have to be more imaginative while they are out and about with baby and, particularly if on foot, make more than one visit to the shops.
